Who We Are
The Clarington Minor Lacrosse Association (CMLA) is a community-driven, not-for-profit organization dedicated to promoting and fostering the growth of lacrosse in Clarington, Ontario. As proud members of the Ontario Lacrosse Association (OLA), we uphold the spirit and tradition of Canada’s national summer sport while striving to inspire passion, teamwork, and sportsmanship in athletes of all ages and skill levels.
With a strong network of volunteers, coaches, and supporters, CMLA has become a cornerstone of youth sports in our region, offering opportunities for personal development and lifelong memories both on and off the field.
What We Do
At CMLA, we provide youth in our community with the opportunity to experience lacrosse through organized programs, including:
- House League: A fun, inclusive environment for players aged 3-21, to learn and enjoy the game.
- Representative (Rep) Teams: Competitive box and field lacrosse teams for athletes aged 5 to 21, designed to challenge and develop players’ skills at a higher level.
- Clinics and Development Programs: Camps and workshops to improve individual skills, knowledge, and fitness while fostering a love for the game.
We also ensure our players and families have access to:
- Certified coaching and mentorship.
- Clear policies on player safety, fair play, and inclusivity.
- A supportive environment where athletes can grow both as players and individuals.
Through the dedication of our volunteers and support from our community, we continue to make lacrosse a dynamic and accessible sport for all families in Clarington. Whether you’re a beginner picking up a stick for the first time or an experienced player seeking new challenges, CMLA is here to help you thrive.
