Jury Lands Foundation

The Jury Lands Foundation is a not-for-profit registered charity. We work in partnership with the Municipality of Clarington, the Clarington Museum and the Clarington Branch of the Architectural Conservancy of Ontario on the former Training School/Camp 30 site.

The Jury Lands Foundation (JLF) is dedicated to the protection, revitalization and interpretation of the former Camp 30/Boys’ Training School (BTS) National Heritage Site in Bowmanville, Ontario. The JLF has been meeting, planning, advocating and collaborating diligently to try and bring the history of BTS/Camp 30 to the community for over a decade! We have been working to keep the Jury Lands in the minds of the community. The cafeteria building has been turned over to the Municipality of Clarington and we are pursuing its animation as an events space.
