Who We Are
A Trail Network That Inspires Adventure
The ORTA trail system connects iconic routes such as the Bruce Trail, the Ganaraska Trail, and other public pathways. Together, these trails provide endless opportunities for recreation, exploration, and awe-inspiring views.
Whether through-hiking or enjoying a day hike, the trails offer a chance to connect with nature while highlighting the importance of preserving and renewing these landscapes. We encourage all trail users to embrace ecologically responsible practices and stewardship, ensuring these natural treasures thrive for generations to come.
A Charitable Organization Committed to Southern Ontario’s Greenbelt
ORTA is an incorporated organization with charitable status, guided by a dedicated Board of Directors. We are devoted to preserving and enhancing the Oak Ridges Moraine and its trail network as a vital part of Southern Ontario’s Greenbelt. Our work ensures that this natural treasure remains accessible, sustainable, and cherished by all.
