Purpose:
To keep Bethesda House outreach building clean and organized by performing general housekeeping and maintenance duties.
Responsibilities:
- clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming
- keep washrooms clean and stocked
- dusting
- prepare cleaning solutions according to specifications and use appropriately
Qualifications:
Basic knowledge of how to clean a building, safe work practices including appropriate use of cleaning supplies and equipment, pleasant manner, ability to understand directions in English and willingness to learn and accept supervision. Problem-solving ability, dependability and willingness to work with people of diverse backgrounds. Commitment will be one day, bi-weekly
Dress Code:
Casual and comfortable, appropriate for the work being done. Flat, close-toed shoes.
