Support Clarington’s local food banks by dropping off non-perishable food items or monetary donations at the CPKC Holiday train event. Live performances by Jade Eagleson and Teigen Gayse.

Volunteer Job Descriptions
Crowd Control - Front/Tracks
· Monitor/control people crossing tracks on Scugog Street prior to train entering area
· Position across the road and adjacent side areas to keep attendees safely back while train enters station and until the stage equipment is situated and secured Make crowd on east side aware of safety arms which will descend when the train arrives.
· Once train stops and stage is secured monitor attendees.
· When show concludes – reposition in front of fencing so stage equipment can be stowed for travel.
· Maintain position until train is completely out of station.
Dalrymple House (Wellington/ Scugog Corner)
· Position yourself with partner along Moduloc fence along the perimeter of Dalrymple property. You may alternate with your partner and help with donation collections as well providing one person is in the general area of the fence/property at all times.
· Maintain the integrity of the fence throughout the entire event by walking around the perimeter – i.e. do not let anyone onto the Dalrympl property.
Alphonso House (Concession/ Wellington Corner)
· Anyone on the house side of the sidewalk should be asked to relocate. One volunteer should be in this general area at all times.
· Do not let anyone onto the Alphonso property.
Accessible Viewing Area
· We will have an accessible viewing area roped off near the front of the crowd for those using accessibility devices and their companions
· Maintain the integrity of the space, offer the space to those who may benefit from it
· Provide assistance to those accessing the space as required – opening the fencing
Donation Collection
· Collect food donations from attendees and take to food bank trucks
· Make sure to evenly distribute to all 3 trucks, to the best of your ability
· Collect monetary donations and deliver to food banks – distribute evenly to the best of your ability
· After train departs collect any food and deliver to food banks
Clarington Booth
· Provide information to members of the public, promote programs and services, answer general inquiries
· Prize wheel and giveaways
· Lost/Found Person meeting location
Hand Outs/Giveaways
· Greet residents/visitors as they attend the event.
· We have hot chocolate packages, candy canes, and some swag to give away
· Located at Scugog and at Wellington/Concession Intersection
